The residents of Gurimuni in Wa Municipality, have No JHS Block as Students walks 3hours to School Daily
Mr. Mujeeb Suleman, Public Relations Officer of Wa Municipal Education Directorate has called for Government and other Stakeholders to intervene on behalf of Residents of Gurimuni after it was reported they have no Junior High School in their Community.
Students of the Community lose up to 135 Contact Hours as A Result of the Development because they are compelled to travel 3 hours daily from Gurimuni to Kpongu to pursue Junior High School Education.
Speaking to journalists on Wednesday 14th August 2024, Mr. Mujeeb Suleman appealed to Stakeholders to Support the Community.
“Government and other bodies need to come to their aid to salvage the situation”. Gurimuni is located about 2km South East of Kpongu in the Wa Municipality.
