Over speeding vehicles threatens students’ safety at TUPASO – PROF TUUROSUNG

Professor Damascus Tuurosung, a senior Lecturer at the SDD- UBIDS university and the owner of the TUPASO center for academic excellence, a popular private school within the upper west region, has made a passionate appeal to the Ghana Highways Authority to take a pragmatic step and as a matter of urgency erect speed rumps around the school junction on the Wa -Kumasi Road to ensure the safety of both children and parents as they commute to and from school daily.

This appeal came after, professor Tuurosung lamented that, he was fed up talking about the risk posed to the vulnerable children and their parents by over-speeding vehicles on that stretch of the road.

‘’we will keep appealing to the Ghana Highways Authority to erect speed rump around the school junction, hopefully they will listen to us very soon “he said.

This was contained in his report during the 13th prize and speech giving day of the school on 5th August, 2024
