
Jirapa Municipal Assembly in partnership with Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah, has donated educational materials to first-year senior high school students across the Jirapa Municipality as part of efforts to support education and improve learning outcomes in the constituency.
The gesture is aimed at easing the financial burden on parents and guardians while ensuring that newly enrolled students have access to essential learning materials as they begin their academic journey.
The donation according to the MP forms his commitment to promoting quality education and creating an enabling environment for students in the Jirapa Municipality to excel academically.
Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting educational initiatives and investing in the future of young people, recognizing education as a critical pathway to individual and community development.
He added that, through education, Jirapa municipality can boast of producing prominent people who are contributing significantly in the development of the nation.
Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah speaking to beneficiaries said the initiative further demonstrates that, supporting education today is an investment in the future of Jirapa and its people.
Some of beneficiaries and their families after receiving the support expressed appreciation to the MP for the timely intervention, describing it as an important improvement to students beginning their first year of education.
The Paramount Chief Of Jirapa, Naa Dinaa Donglabong Ganaa II handing over the items to the students encouraged the Students them to take studies seriously adding that they owe it themselves to be responsible in order to become good leaders people can count on in the future; adding that, he will be monitoring their academic performance as they continue their educational journey.

Meanwhile, over 1,000 students across the Jirapa Municipality took home; mattresses, student storage boxes, pens, buckets and exercise books.
