Give equal treatment to both biological and non- biological children -Piree Naa tells parents

The chief of Piree, who doubles as the deputy wa west district director of education in charge of human resource [HR] Naa Dondoma Mwinesigey Aaron II, has admonished and encourage parents and caregivers not to prioritized their biological children over non- biological to ensure proper upbring.

He said there are children who stay with their uncles, unties and grandparents and these caregivers must be responsible and treat these children with love and care to grow well and develop. 

Naa Aaron said this during his regular Sunday morning program on Radio Progress 11th August 2024 on the topic “blended families”

The revered chief said due poverty and other issues like divorce or death, parents asked some relatives to help them raise up their children, hence such children must not be treated differently from one’s biological children.

“Parents and caregivers are adults and when maltreat other adults see you as wicket children”.

He added that, “when children are not handling with care and love, it affects their physical, social thinking and language development, stating that, children are fragile and must be cared for with friendliness, firmness and fair.
