Bayport Wa Branch Celebrates Customer Service Week with Clients

The Wa Branch of Bayport Savings and Loans joined the global celebration of Customer Service Week with a special event held at its premises in Wa, Upper West Region, on Friday, 10th October, 2025.

The event brought together a cross-section of customers and stakeholders to recognize and appreciate their loyalty and contribution to the company’s growth. Customers expressed excitement and gratitude for being remembered as the main backbone of the financial institution’s success, while also raising key concerns — particularly the need for a reduction in loan interest rates and a possible increment in interest on fixed deposit savings, among others.

Speaking at the event, the Branch Manager of Bayport Wa, Mr. Ahiles Azah Dapila, expressed profound appreciation to the participants for their continued trust and partnership. He assured them that management had taken note of their concerns and would work toward addressing them, especially reviewing loan interest rates to make them more customer-friendly.

Mr. Dapila explained that although the branch wished to involve all customers in the celebration, limited resources and time constraints made it impossible. However, he emphasized that Bayport remains committed to creating more opportunities for customer engagement in the future.

As part of the celebration, the branch shared branded souvenirs with participants as tokens of appreciation. Mr. Dapila also disclosed that Bayport currently serves over 7,000 active customers within the Upper West Region.

The event formed part of Bayport’s annual efforts to strengthen customer relations and reaffirm its commitment to providing reliable financial solutions tailored to the needs of its clients.
