EIGHT NEW REGIONS EMBRACE LIVELY MINDS TOGETHER RADIO PROGRAMMES.

Lively Minds Together Programme  has rolled out a planned expansion of its access on the Radio Programme to Eight new Regions.

The Lively Minds Together Radio  Programme which started in Bongo District of the Upper East Region is currently  runned in Eight Regions, broadcasted in Sixteen different Ghanaian languages on Eighteen different Radio Stations and reaches out to approximately 1.9 Million Listeners.

The five days training slated from 19th to 23rd May,2025 for Participants at the the Eight New Regions; Western, Western North, Greater Accra, Volta, Eastern, Ashanti, Central and Ahafo would focus on Information on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Improve School Readiness across regions, Promotion of Child’s Rights and Welfare, Amplifying GES Messaging and Image, Capacity Building for District Staff and Teachers and Capacity Building for Star Presenters.

The Radio Manager for Lively Minds Together Programme , Mr. Nobel Abingya  indicated that the objectives for the expansion of the radio programme is being motivated to be part of an exciting programme that can transform the lives of children in rural areas, and build the skills and confidence of parents to provide quality Early Childhood Care and Education at home. Building Knowledge and understanding of Early Childhood Development (ECD) – including barriers, necessary inputs, and the critical role of parents. Understanding the structure of the Lively minds Together programme, it’s principles and how it works.

The five days training in Western North brought together five Districts; Bibiani-Ahwiaso Bekkwai, Akontombra, Suaman – Dadieso, Juaboso and Sefwi – Wiaso municipal as lead host for the programme.

Welcoming participants on behalf of the Regional Director of Education for Western North at the first day of the programme, the District Director of Education for Juaboso, Mr. Philip Yawson, was grateful to Lively Minds Together for rolling up the programme to cover the Region and was positive that learning would be enhanced through the new methodologies of the radio programmes. He urged participants to be attentive and absorb every single content as they would soon be agents of change in the Region.
