Residents of Mwaantanga appeal for a KG and potable water source.

Residents of Mwaantanga, a farming community in the Wa West district have told radio progress news, that there is an adequate of water to serve the community and its surrounding areas

Speaking to radio progress in an exclusive interview, some women of the community revealed that, they have to queue for long hours at the single water source in the community in order to get water for household activities, this they said has often brought pressure on the borehole leading to its frequent breakdowns. They are calling on the district assembly to come to Their aid by providing them with another borehole.

In a related conversation, they said that, the community has no please for childhood education and for that matter children in the community cannot go to school because, they are too young to walk from   Mwaantanga to Kupkali, the nearest community where there is a school.  They are therefore calling on the district assembly and the education service of Ghana to come to their aid and at least built a classroom block for a kindergarten, so that their young ones would be able to have primary education.
