We find it difficult accessing potable water due to inadequate boreholes – Daribaateng residents bemoaned

Women in Daribaateng, a farming community in the Wa West district of the upper west region, bemoaned the challenges, they are facing in their attempt to access clean water in the community. Madam Bayour Kyaltolo Faustina, a woman farmer and a mother explain that, they have four boreholes in the community but two of the four are not functional leaving tow to be in operation as a result the aged women and people with physical challenges find it difficult in getting water for their domestic activities.

Another woman by name Madam Kaa-welledomah Grace further describe the situation to be a very challenging one for them in the community as a result she appeals to non-governmental organization, philanthropist and government to come to their aid in providing additional borehole to reduces the pressure on the existing one.
