
Residents of Dotanga, a farming community under the Dorimo electoral area in Wa West district bemoaned the deplorable nature of their which, they said is hindering the development of the community.
In an interview with Progress News, Mr Moses a unity committee member of the community over the weekend, explained that, there was a heavy rainfall in Wa West district last year where some road within the district were destroy by the rain and most of the roads, that were destroy by the rain were maintained but Dotanga road which was one of the roads destroy by the rain was never repaired as a result, it causes a lot of discomfort to the community members.
Mr Babele Dauda further highlighted the issues, explaining that whenever it rains there is a pool of water over the road which make it extremely difficult to cross. This situation hinders the ability of people to conduct business with people of Dorimo.
They are therefore appealing to the Government and philanthropist to help them by improving the deplorable state of their road.
Mr. Boye a community member also explains the difficulties women and school children face anytime when it rains in the community.
