
Bahass Foundation has received its first batch of 100 bags of cement from Hon. Rashid Pelpuo, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to assist those living with mental illness. This donation comes as part of a larger commitment from the Honorable Member of Parliament, who pledged a total of 200 bags of cement to the foundation during the World Tree Planting Day [Green Ghana Day] in June 2024.
Mr. Eliasu Yussif Baba, the CEO of Bahass Foundation told Radio progress news that, the delivery of the bags of cement has renewed the foundation’s determination to enhance its initiatives aimed at providing assistance to vulnerable individuals affected by mental health issues.
“We are deeply touched by this generous contribution from Hon. Rashid Pelpuo. It serves as a reminder of the importance of community support and solidarity in addressing the challenges faced by our brothers and sisters who are struggling with mental illness,” said a representative from the Bahass Foundation.
He said the foundation aims to use the cement to build essential facilities that will offer counseling and support services, creating a safe haven for those in need of help.
“This donation is more than just material support; it represents hope and the possibility of a brighter future for individuals battling mental health challenges,” the representative continued.
