Supporters of Hon. Dr Seidu Jesew organizes a clean-up exercise at logu

Some supporters of the member of Parliament for Wa East Constituency Hon. Dr Godfred Seidu Jesew have on Friday 17th July,2024 organized a clean-up exercise in logu, the event was aimed to engage first time voters and canvas for votes for the NDC presidential candidate John Mahama and the parliamentary candidate.

 The team was armed with cleaning equipment, gathered at the center of the community, where they were joined by the wife of the MP, constituency executives and party enthusiasts to clear trash and clean filthy areas.

 the Youth organizer, Mr Azuma, thanked the chiefs, the go-for Jesew Team and residents for the massive turn out and continued support for the NDC party. He highlighted some development done by the NDC party when they were in power and criticized the current government for neglecting the Wa – Logu Road for the last 7 and half years in power. He urged the people to vote massively for the NDC to capture power and provide jobs for the teaming Youth of the constituency.

Speaking on behalf of the first-time voters during the cleanup exercises, Yahaya Rashida who together with some other young voters recently sat for their BECE exams, credited the MP for his timely intervention in providing them with essential learning materials and sanitary pads which alleviated their anxiety and enabled them to focus on their studies and for that declared their support for the MP.

 Addressing the gathering, the wife of the MP, Mrs Hajia fati Jesew assured the residents of Logu that, the Mp is committed to revamping the Wa-Logu Road which has been in a deplorable state for years. She pointed out that the road has been abandoned by the Npp government, and also urged the people to vote for the NDC party and her husband to come to power.
