The assembly member for Buu electoral area in the Nandom municipality, Hon. Ebenezer Nabiebakye has stated that, the municipal, metropolitan and district assemblies are now not working on the general development and growth of the constituents, but rather on partisan basis.
In an exclusive interview with progress news over the weekend, Hon. Ebenezer Nabiabakye stated that, the assembly will not send development to some sections of the constituency that are not sympathizers of the party in government because the party don’t win in that area during elections
He said this can be seen in most of the assemblies in the region.
He has therefore called on the various chief executive officer of the assemblies to see to the real development of the people based on Their felt needs instead of treating the development of the constituency as if it were a party affair.
