Residents of Mangu Saabayiri in the Wa Municipality have cried out loud to the government through the municipal assembly to construct a toilet facility for them.
Speaking to radio progress news they said that resident’s resort to open defecation or defecating in poly bags and throwing them into open gutters
According to the several appeals have been made and the assembly man of the area have also made moves to get them a toilet but all proved futile.
They added that the men in the community can manage into the bushes around this rainy season to defecate but for women, they through difficulties before they can attend natures call.
Similarly, Madam Fati Koroma said she has lost interest in buying vegetables these days due to the fact that people in Mangu Kokoyiri too have no toilet facility, and so residents defecate in the gutters and the water is carried to the nearby gardens.
They are therefore calling on the municipal assembly to come to their aid.
