“I can declare with confidence that, starting in 1957, no president has done more to advance Ghana’s interests than Nana Akufo-Addo. Including your Kwame Nkrumah, none of them has defended Ghana and improved the nation more than Nana Akufo-Addo since 1957, he said this during his official unveiling ceremony on July 9, 2024, at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi.
“President Akufo-Addo has developed this country to the admiration of all,” emphasized Dr. Opoku Prempeh. We will hence not let a recurrence of the events of 2008. The best person to take over after Nana Akufo-Addo will be his younger brother, Dr. Bawumia.
This statement for some Ghanaians did not come as a surprise but only on the confirmation of the arrogance tag leveled against Dr. Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party by his critics.
